Services Description
TKA Topeka Masonry provides professional masonry services including but not limited to brick repair, chimney rebuilding, tuckpointing, retaining wall installation, patio construction, stone veneer installation, and related masonry work. All services are provided according to industry standards and local building codes in Topeka, Kansas and surrounding areas.
Estimates and Pricing
We provide free on-site consultations and written estimates for all projects. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may change if project scope changes or if unforeseen conditions are discovered during work. We will communicate any necessary changes and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional work or charges.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your project contract. We typically require a deposit before starting work, with the balance due upon project completion. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Payment is due within the timeframe specified in your contract. Late payments may result in project delays or additional fees as permitted by law.
Project Timeline
We provide estimated project timelines based on current conditions and weather forecasts. While we make every effort to complete work on schedule, timelines may be affected by weather conditions, material availability, or unforeseen site conditions. We will communicate any delays promptly and work to minimize disruption to your schedule.
Permits and Inspections
When required, we will obtain necessary permits for your project and schedule required inspections. Permit costs are typically included in your project estimate unless otherwise specified. You are responsible for providing accurate property information and any homeowner association approvals that may be required.
Warranty and Guarantees
We stand behind our workmanship and offer warranties on completed projects as specified in your contract. Warranty coverage typically includes defects in our workmanship but does not cover damage caused by natural disasters, improper maintenance, or modifications made by others. Material warranties are provided by manufacturers according to their terms. We will help facilitate any warranty claims when applicable.
Property Access and Safety
You agree to provide clear access to work areas and allow our crew to perform services during agreed-upon hours. We maintain comprehensive insurance coverage and follow safety protocols on all job sites. We ask that you keep children and pets away from active work areas for their safety. We will protect your property and minimize disruption, but some dust and noise are unavoidable during masonry work.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your project, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made after materials have been ordered or work has begun may be subject to fees covering our actual costs incurred. Specific cancellation terms will be outlined in your project contract.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services rendered. We are not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our work is performed in accordance with industry standards and local building codes. We make no guarantees beyond those explicitly stated in your contract.
Dispute Resolution
If disputes arise regarding our services, we encourage open communication to resolve issues promptly. If we cannot reach a mutual resolution, disputes will be handled according to Kansas state law. You agree that any legal action must be brought in the appropriate court in Shawnee County, Kansas.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
